From the first consultation, right through to my surgery, and then subsequent discharge on Friday 24th March, I can not fault Mr Thakrar. He took his time to listen to me, understand my concerns, and provided clear explanations both before and after the operation. He was always willing to answer any questions I had and was truthful in his responses to me. My operation has been a success after many of years of pain and I can't thank him enough.

Mr Thakrar did a great job performing my patella tendon repair operation. He clearly explained what the procedure was going to involve and, afterwards, explained exactly how the procedure had gone. My follow-up appointments gave me confidence to believe that my rehab was on track and Mr Thakrar was always very clear in explaining what I should (or shouldn't) be doing at each stage of my recovery. He was also very quick to respond to questions from my physiotherapist whenever she had specific questions of detail about managing my recovery. All in all, my experience with Mr Thakrar was hugely positive and I can't recommend him highly enough.

I cannot praise Mr Thakrar highly enough. Not only is he an excellent surgeon but he ensures his patients are well informed and put at their ease. He took into account our family circumstances and went out of his way to see that I had the knee replacement I needed as soon as possible. I always felt completely at ease with him, he is a very nice man, and I have no hesitation in recommending him to anyone.

One of the best experiences I have had with any Doctor or Surgeon. Mr Thakrar went over and above by taking calls out of hours (even over festive period) when I had worries and concerns a the time. I am truly grateful to him for the surgical technical he used to try to ensure I have the absolute best chance of getting back to my previous level of sporting actively as I had before.
